I have an 86 RX7 with a 95 carbed Lt1 w/ 6 speed. The car weighs 2700 lbs, 4.10 rearend. I plan on running stock heads for now, and down the road porting them. I want to know if a cc306 or a XE 230/236 cam would be better for my setup. I don't plan on reving the motor over 6500 rpms. From what I understand the cc306 probably would be better with a carbed motor, and the XE 230/236 is better for fuel injected motors. I have read many post about which is better and worse, but obviously none that are carbed. I would like to know what anyone would think would be better.
