Is this the best from to ask for suspension upgarde for 4th gen LT1?

I am looking to upgrade the stock suspension setup on the 94 Formula. It doens't have the WS6, but the other one, can't remember the RPO off the top of my head. Anyhow, I will be doing some 1/4 mile racing and would like it to stick good on-off interstate ramps and stuff like that. I'm not gonna be autoX or anything. What are the components that need upgraded and in what order should I do them. I would also like to lower it with springs about 1.25 inches. Would 18" rims still fit? Is there an all around package that comes with like all the stuff?

Sorry, this may not be the correct section, but I couldn't find anywhere else...thanks

PS It might be the Y88???? i dunno

You'll get some more replies in morning, but this is a good topic for here or you can try the autocross. But I would reccommend the hal qa1 set up. It's about ~689, but it's fully adjustable for what you are doing at the current time. Daily driving, street racing, autocrossing?, and for sure drag racing. After the endless research and searching on the site, that is what I am going with. From what I gather, for the money it is the best. If I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it right the fist time....learned too many times!!!!! I'm doing SFC's, LCA's with reloactors, and the hal suspension. Then I'm going to add the torque arm, etc.

heck yea

Man do i ever agree with doing stuff right the first time. I too will be going with the QA1's for the shocks, and to Spohn for the LCA's and brackets and PHR. torque arm will come later for me too, and if i lower it i would use the eibach pro kit, widely used, most people like it. my buddy's '02 T/A haz 18's on it and the pro kit and it rides nice. id go with the LCA's and brackets first and you'll need the adjustable panhard rod if you lower it. other than that you can prolly search and find better advice than mine

www.SLPONLINE.com has a kit for lowering and tightening suspension. I have several of the Spohn products and have been very happy with them.

Subframe connectors will help your handling and your launch.

I got my double diamond connectors from www.sybersport.com for $186 shipped. Made a huge difference.

email darren at info@sybersport.com and tell him Grip sent you.
