Best 355 Rebuild kit?
Best 355 Rebuild kit?
Looking for the best 355 complete rebuild kit for my LT1. i want forged everything so that i don't have to worry about when i add a turbo to it later.
any suggestions?
preferably with connecting rods, crank, etc...not worried about the cam and heads and lifters and such....already have that picked out.

Re: Best 355 Rebuild kit?
what are you planning on doing with the engine? this could help a lot seeing how if you want to go boosted you want low comp or if you wan n/a you can go high. also, if you plan on being an all moter monster you dont need forged, you can stick with the hypereutectic pistons and jsut get a forged crank. call scat or summit, scat carries everything from cast to forged everything in full rebuild kits, summit has eagle rebuild kits from cast all the way to fully forged. both will be able to tell you what you need for what you want.
i got forged everything just because i could...i had money then so i spent it...i dont need it because i have no intention of running nos or boost, but the option is there if ever i want it. i wasted about a grand upgrading the crank, rods and pistons to forged though...
:blah:
be more specific if you want a more specific answer. the more detailed you get the more people can help you
