How much is a tensioner supposed to be moving around at idle ?
Mine moves quite a bit up and down at idle . I heard a whirring
sound coming from the engine bay that changed with RPM's .
It honestly sounded like a blower does but the noise isnt so loud
anymore . Its actually pretty faint now but i noticed the tensioner
moving up and down quite a bit at idle . Thanks in advance

 

change it...it's only 30 bucks.

it's not supposed to move. the spring's broke.
