Belt squeeking at high RPMs?

Got on my car hard yesterday and today, and noticed when it revs all the way out right before it shifts there is a loud squeek for like .25 a second. Anyone know what this might be? It kind of sounds like the belt is slipping, is this possible?

I had that problem last spring, and it turned out to be my worn serpentine belt..

That is a pretty old belt, if it were to be replaced, I'd say you got your time out of it. Another possibility would also be the belt tensioner.

Defiantly sounds like a belt slipping to me. I had the same problem last year as well, used to get a chirp when it would shift under wot. Got a goodyear gatorback and the chirp was gone.
