Hey guys. its a sad night. Just got back from running one of my buddys in his 99 LS1 car with headers and full exhaust. He beat me by about 4 car lengths in the quarter even with my 75 shot all though i think ive only got about half the bottle left. Oh well the Z is gonna get a new motor this winter. Ha Ha

 

A 75 shot LT1 with all bolt ons should at least be a mid 12 second car. Sounds like your car has issues.

 

my friend has a 99z28 6 speed. gears, headers,exhaust shocks,slicks..went 12.1

 

There's some that can pull that off, most don't, let's face it.

I've seen more "average" cars than I have seen "damn that's faster than it should be" cars.

 

I'd hope to god better than that. There have been many N/A bolt-on LT1's in the 12.7 range...

 

What's the mileage on your motor?

 

If your bottle pressure was too low you are basicly richening up the engine and thus hurting the speed , even compared to N/A if the pressure is Too low.

 

Well, if he beat you by 4 car lengths in the quarter, that could mean that his time was 20 sec. in the quarter and your time was even slower.

I.e, without knowing his ET and speed, the info doesn't mean much.JMHO
