bbk shorty headers and plug wires

Angry bbk shorty headers and plug wires

does any body have any suggestions on how to run plug wires with bbk shorty headers i have put at least 4 sets on my self got desperate and paid someone to do it and then took it back for them to fix when they burnt again and today i started missing on cyl 8 again that would be 6 sets of wires now and im getting please help i have never had any trouble with plug wires or headers before but these are a nightmare

Are you just trying regular wires or "over the top" wires. I've heard of a couple of people doing this instead. I don't know that much about it personally, but something to look into.

I got bbk. I think it was #6 burning on me my friend gave an extra wire or too. I got alumiun foil out of the kitchen, ran it under the alt using a longer wire, got the burnt wire to keep the new wire off the header and alumin foiled it real good, not missed a beat in over an year. Good Luck

I had BBK headers...I just ran them in the stock routing. But I had heat sleves for a few of the wires....and no problems for me.
