Battery Question

I put my Camaro in a garage for storage last week, and went to check on her today. It seems that I, being an idiot, forgot to close the console lid which completely drained the battery. Any chance that anything could be screwed up now? Should I just jump it somehow and take it out on the highway to charge up?

yeah, just jump it and go for a test run. unless your battery was already on its last leg, it'll be fine once you get it started. just leave it running idle for a while to charge it again.

If your bat is completely drained, driving it around won't get it. You need to have it recharged. JMHO

I think it may be the original stock battery. What kind came with these cars? I'll jump it someday and see if it charges.

If your battery is past the due date, do yourself a favor and get a new battery NOW.JMHO

got my car used so not sure of the oem battery. I'm gonna guess delco, but I may be wrong. anyways, that's a surprising amount of miles on your 93! and if that's the stock battery, I'm even more impressed!

I'm betting it is the stock battery. Take a look at the pics in my sig. The motor was a little dusty when I took them, but some simple green cleaned it right up. Looks almost brand new now.
