Battery died TWICE within month.??

Battery died TWICE within month.??

well i thin kbaout 3-4 weeks ago my car wouldnt start cause the battery was dead....so i take it to get charged, fully chagred good battery it said...drove it for about 3-4 weeks then this morning my car doesnt start again due to dead battery...WHAT IN the WORLD is causing my battery to die???????????
please help

i have a radar detector that nevers goes off over night!

nope...charges just fine when car is running.....never have problems when car is running though....

D@mn, that's all I had . Guess it could be the radar detector then. If that's what you think is causing the problems why don't you just unplug it at night?

yea, why not wire that radar detector to an ignition wire rather than a constant?

You have a parasitic current draw that is draining your battery. I'm guessing that when you drive the car every day it works fine, but if you don't drive it for a few days its dead.

You will have to track down the offending circuit. In my case my console light switch never extinguished the console light and drained my battery in a couple of days.

well i have the radio shack deector the most expensive one...which works pretty well....but also i have a constant static noise comming from my passenger front speaker and i replaced it thinking it was busted but ended up being a wire touching something to my ground, specially when i go over a bump or somehting it makes loud as static noise......
lemme know ill bbl interveiw at 4pm...its now 3:15
