Battery/Alternator/Electrical problem arlington, tx

My TA has been having starting problems lately. I replaced the original ac delco battery around may. The battery had alot of corrosion on the positive terminal, I figured I'd get a new one. So i got an interstate from sam's club and it has been doing just fine up until the last week. There is major corrosion once again and to start the car i have to mess with the positive connection until i hear the headlights making their grinding noise then i can usually start it. The connection is tight so i dont know why it seems to loose power and i have to mess with the positive terminal everytime. The guy at sams club checked the battery and said it was just fine. I am wondering what could be the issue, I really want to fix it. any help is appreciated

also, im looking for a trusty shop in the arlington area and im open to suggestions, thanks yall

Corrosion eats away at the terminal bolts causing a poor connection. A replacement set is $3 at auto zone. Also get the battery terminal grease to prevent corrosion in the future.

You must remove all corrosion or it will just begin to grow back. Clean thoroughly with baking soda/water paste and/or replace the nasty terminals. It's amazing how a little corrosion can play havoc with the electrical system.
