Headers, exhaust, CAI, gears, stall and a tune are a good place to start

A properly done heads/cam car will walk all over an otherwise stock one with a blower/turbo or nitrous thrown at it. One of the magazines recently did a Caprice build with stall/gears/headers/nitrous using a 125 shot it went 13.5 a friend's cam only 170K mile cop car with the same gears and admittedly a better stall will run 13.5 at over a 4000ft. DA. no lightening, stock WP nothing special. Using an Advanced Induction spec cam close to the HOT cam specs with 1.52 rockers and 915 beehives as the iron heads in stock form wont accept much lift.

ONLY way to go on tuning is custom. ALL the hypercrap jet etc. is absolute garbage. On a 93 I would probably try and find someone local as they can be a little more challenging than the later MAF systems, the MAF and the easy flashing by plugging in under the dash make the 94+ cars so much easier to deal with. The 93 uses a chip that needs to be removed to flash in a specific fixture.

tunig a 93 isnt going to be a problem. Plently of guys do it. I would start off with bolt ons and than move on to heads and cam. Longtube headers, a cold air intake, 3.73 or 4.10 gear, sub frame connectors.
Than hear into the engine, port the stock heads and a cam. Upgrade the valvetrain and so fourth. Just look around here, you ll find more than what you want and what you ll b able to afford.
