Ball Joint Question

Just bought ball joints from Advance Auto parts. I bought both lower and upper ball joints. The uppers were expensive, about 50.00 each, and they are the sealed type without a grease fitting. The lower units do have a greasable fitting. I was under the impression that both upper and lower were available as greasable fittings. BTW these are TRW Federal Mogul parts, which I was led to believe were the "good" ball joints. Did they give the incorrect upper units?

Thanks

there are ball joints available with or without(prepacked) grease fittings.... I dont know if there is a difference in life..... If there is a hole on top where it looks like a grease fitting goes then you need the fitting.... But if it is soild then no prob. You just dont have to worry about greasing the top ball joint.....
