Question Balancing Question

I had my 383 Stroker Assem. Balanced when I bought it. The place that did it asked for the flywheel & clutch (it was the stock flywheel) that I was going to use.
My quesion is: Am I going to run into any problems putting on a new SLP Steel Billet flywheel?

Re: Balancing Question

If the rotating assembly was balanced using a stock flywheel, then the SLP flywheel will work just fine. The SLP flywheel is lighter, but balanced the same as the stock flywheel.

Re: Balancing Question

the stock flywheel is externally balanced. you'll want to line up the flywheels to see if the wights are in the same place. it never hurts to have it checked at a shop if it looks any different.
