balancer bolt

im trying to do a alve adjustment on my 95 z28, but cannot find the right size socket to turn the crankshaft. anyone know what size it is? i searched shoebox's site but didnt find any info.

On my 95 corvette I use a 5/8" socket.

21mm is huge. I'm pretty sure on my 95, it was 5/8. That doesn't make sense.

agreed, the thread is 7/16-20, and the standard size head for that thread is 5/8, so, either him and us are talking about different hexes, or ??????

I know LS1s have pretty large balancer bolts. I don't even see a 21mm bolt fitting into the hub very easily.

yeah Rob, I was just thinking that, some of the aftermarket ones are pretty big

If it's an aftermarket bolt, then how do the threads fit the crank? Just a huge bolt head and a normal 7/16-20 shaft?
