Bad vibrations after lowering

I lowered the car a month ago, and have noticed a vibration sound coming from the rear only at high speeds (55 or +). It doesn't shake the car or anything, but sounds like a pulsating vibration.

I have greasable U-joints (had that done when I had it balanced a few years back), and greased them up, but that didn't work. I thought maybe it's my rear (gonna change the oil today), but it sounds more just before the rear and forward (amost under the center of the car).

This is really getting on my nerves.

Dave

what kind of tranny mount are you using? maybe your mount is bad & with lowering its hitting your body?

I've got that same noise. I hear gear whine at around 55mph, then when i get up above 85 or so the engine drowns out the whine but it begins to make the pulsating whir/moan sound without any vibration. Not surprisingly it seams to have gotten louder with my aluminum driveshaft and new rear end, it's still the same noise though. Before that stuff i'd only hear it up over 100. Hopefully when i get my adj torque arm and can fine tune the pinion angle it will go away. I'm not too worried about it though since although it's a harmonic in something you don't feel any violent vibration.

I was thinking the same about the pinion angle...like how when trucks put suspension lifts and need to adjust the angle, except going the other way?

Is there anyway to fix this w/ the stock TA?
