Bad Vibrations....

Yeah, as im singing the song i write to you in dire need of help.

i have gotten a few thoughts on this, and decided to get a few more.

i recently installed a 383 CI Stroker into my 1996 pontiac Trans am..

i also did a M6 Conversion a few months back.

the motor starts and idles great. i am throwing a code for 02 sensors.. but the code popped before i put them in and was dealing with opti issues. so im expecting the codes to stay away now that my 02s are installed.

when i start it im getting a very bad vibration almost in sync with the engine. the rotating assembly was balanced by itself neutrally. and i have the stock flywheel from a 95 camaro in it from the swap, i used the original pulley from my old LT1 on the crank. street driving is pretty much unbarable unless you lug it out as less than 20 mph in second will rattle you out of the seat..

been looking for a new flywheel as most say it is probably that. but i can seem to find out that says for sure it is a neutrally balanced F/W.

any ideas?

The stock flywheel is not nuetral balanced if your engine is internally balanced then the stock flywheel would cause vibrations that could also cause crank bearing failures

Balance

Agree with Black396...you need a neutral balanced flywheel if your assembly has been balanced at a neutral state.
