Angry Bad Vibration!!!!

Bad vibration when motor is revved up, at idle everything is fine. In or out of gear it doesnt matter, starts at about 2500 rpm and gets violently worse as rpms increase. I understand that the flywheel is a "Dual Mass" and is a two piece. it feels and sounds to be coming from in the back. I had this flywheel turned not long ago, and I think it may be the problem. Just wanted some opinions before i pulled it out. Please help. It is a 96 T/A 385 stroker 6.0 rod motor with a 6-speed if that helps.

What brand flywheel you running? Typically dual mass flywheels can't be resurfaced.

Many times, if you warp a flywheel, the machine shop will cut it smooth and parallel in relationship to the flange that bolts to the crank. This is a problem because, since it was warped, they are removing more material from one side than 180 deg out. What you're left with is a true, but out of balance flywheel.
