I have just noticed an oil leak tha looks pretty bad can itbe coming from the back of the intake or the rear main seal. If it is the rear main seal is there any quick fixes or do i have to replace it. If so can i do it with the motor in the car or do i have to pull it thanks.

 

I'm betting it's the rear of the intake leaking. Rear main seal leaks are uncommon on these engines and all others with one piece rear main seals.

 

I will check it out tomorrow i hope u are right.

 

It's very simple to check.
After the car cools down enough just stick your hand back where the intake meets the block. If you feel any oil especially on the crushed part of the sealent beed then you'll know your answer.
