Bad news :(
Bad news :(
Friday night I made an accident. I was lucky because after the accident my engine was still running, and I turned it off.
My question; is my engine balance effected from this? My engine was internally balanced. When I look the engine bay, nothing touchs the engine. I think I'm really lucky about that.

BTW I will write the detail of the accident later. (First I should learn how to explain in english)

Re: Bad news :(
sorry to hear about that, hope your ok. You maybe better off getting a new car. I bought a 94 cheap that was kissed in the right front. I had the frame shop pull it straight. I had a lot of alignment issues with the structure in front under the bumper cover. Such as headlight mounts,radiator/condenser mount, etc. The guy at the frame shop said it doesn't take much of a hit to bend stuff in front. I never had any drivability problem with the car but I got rid of it. Then bought another car. 1995 for $2000 with a bad engine.

Re: Bad news :(
How much is it to ship a car there? I see sscamaro has a car in VA for $2200obo(in cars for sale section). I would think that would be cheaper than buying pieces and putting yours back together. Maybe then you could sell parts off the rest of it. If z's are that expensive there. There must be a demand for parts? Are there many Z's driving around over there?
Re: Bad news :(
Man, that looks nasty. Glad you're okay, and if nothing hit the engine, you should be good to go to transplant your powertrain and drivetrain into another car. I wouldn't even attempt to try to salvage that body.
Re: Bad news :(

A week ago, I was worried about 2 degree knock retard, and now look at this.

Re: Bad news :(
I would think you could buy and ship a worn out 93-97 Z28 for far less than that...or part out what you have and start with something else.
LS1 based f-body. perhaps?
Re: Bad news :(
Unfortunately it is impossible. I have waited around 1 year for my 383cid engine. The Customs are very strict.
Maybe I should take better pictures. The only damage is body and front wheel. Its a miracle that I don't have any broken window, broken mirror, even no damage on radiator. After the accident I still had the battery power. I checked the gages. So I don't believe that will cost a huge money. I believe max 5K $.
I'm still looking for body components websites but I can't find any.
