i'm having this minor issue with my Z, it idles kinda rough but if i raise the RPMs to 1300 or so the problem goes away. at idle there is quite a bit of popping in the exhaust and as i slowly raise the RPMs the engine shakes then as it reaches 1300 everything smooths out. it turns on the first turn of the key everytime. has new NGK plugs and taylor wires. no SES light has come up either.
i'm hoping it's just the opti since i'm going to replace it anyways, car has 70K miles BTW. thanks for any help

luckily nothing happened to the engine, so far this is the only problem i have encountered

 

same thing happens to me, but after a more "Acceleration intensive" run. I think it is my egr since i am getting a code for it.
