Bad Icm???
My car starts popping and struggling once the car gets running warm. When its cold the car runs awesome. I checked my icm and its really hot like its overheating. I've heard of a mod that might cool it down, if i seperate it with some washers. Could a overheating icm cause the car to start popping and struggling?

But you didnt replace your plugs, coil, MAF, or MAP sensors did you? those are also ALLLLL very important to your ignition system. As for the waterpump, i have no idea why you would try to replace that to fix a 'misfire' *shrugs*. I would first start by replacing my ICM & Coil, if nothing else, it will be good to know my components are new. Then if the problem persists, i would try to pull codes for some sensors. If no codes show up, the opti is probably going bad, mine didnt put out any codes when it went. Good luck with this, hope you fix it soon!

at any rpm, sometimes it will go smooth, its weird.
I'm on my 4th ICM. What usually happens. Vehicle starts, runs fine. After it heats up the vehicle just stops without warning. Starts back again after the ICM has cooled. One definitve sign that it's going. When the vehicle stops. There are no dash lights, (ie, AIR BAG, ABS, INOP, SERVICE ENGINE SOON, CHECK GAUGES;,) Pretty much the lights you get when the vehicle starts. They do not illuminate with the ICM just cuts out.
I don't know why it doesn't trigger an ECM response. Oh well, hope that little bit of info helps you in your diagnosis.
