.

what about those pics hambone? I had too much gas and junk on my hands to handle a camera the other day. Some advise is that the flex tube that is attahced to the original pump is not reusable. I got some high pressure EFI tubing from Auto zone and used it for the high pressure line running out of the pump with some small clamps to hold it in place just in case. The rubber boot from on top of the original is also what I used instead of the new one with the Walbro(granatelli) new pump. And for tyhe record it was asked if all the cars pumps are in a plastic bucket? 93-up pumps are in the plastic bucket. When I first pulled my pump assembly out I didnt know about the plastic container and I freaked cause it didnt look nuthin like the new pump. The old pump is inside the plastic container. I never figured out what that big rubber ring was for? Didnt fit anything I have. There are some instruction pages people have posted if you do a yahoo search on camaro fuel pump replacement or directions. Got my car going for a few days and then the ICM went out. Got it fixed and going again. Headers and new gears next! I got em already, just have to find time to install them.

Thanks Joe. I looked a couple of people's directions including yours. The more I saw the more I put em all together and made sense out of something I had no clue how to do but didnt get 'skeered' of it.lol.
You wouldnt happen to have some pics of your EGR and AIR Pump removal would ya?! That is my next project. I want to remove them before I do my LT headers. Also, what kind of gains are these long tube headers gonna give my car? 1/4mile and hp gains from LT headers??..
Thanks again!! Neil H. in Alabama

Actually yes I do...although the picture is a little blurry. You get the idea though.

Typically, long tubes can give you anywhere from .1 to .4 and 1 to 3mph. I would be able to let you know how they helped me, but I added every bolt-on and a big cam at the same time.

Good luck!
