what are symptoms of a bad fuel filter?

 

if you think that yours is bad just change it, it takes 5 minutes and costs 8 bucks. how many miles since you last changed it?

 

when my pump was going out i had some of the following problems

When i went WOT it would stop at around 4000RPM's like it was redlined (it wasnt getting enuf fuel to go past that)

during normal driving it would jump hard .

The best way to check would be to go get a fuel presure test gauge from pep boys and see what it says


with the car running it sould be right around 37-42 and when u turn the car off it shouldnt drop presure
