bad experience with taylor wires any suggestions?

I just put taylor wires on my 95 Z28 with the ovc looms. they worked just fine for about 2000 miles then slowly they have all started to arc out even the coil wire. the cars misses across the rpm band. and I won't even mention fuel economy. Does anyone know of a better wire that will work with the looms , the looms are awesome. does the msd wires work or are they too short. and if they are what other wires are out there.

I have the MSDs and have no problems, I don,t like Taylors myself but its just personal preference.
MSD makes some cut to fit wires you might call summit and see if they can get you a set.
I run the pre made wires from MSD without OVC with LTs and have not burnt one yet.

Arcing is a common problem with Taylor wires. I've had good luck with MSD wires. I'm pretty sure they don't make them for OVC setups, but you can cut and make them yourself from an universal kit.

I have yet to have a problem with my Taylor wires. Both of my T/A's have them, and neither has had any kind of problem. How close to anything do you have them routed??

On another note, how is it that one car can have no problem with these, and another have nothing but problems?? Something larger lurking, or just luck of the draw?
