I have a really weird problem that I'm trying to trouble shoot. It seems when the engine warms up and when I accelerate, it tends to do this back fire thing. Like the manifold intake temporarily sticks shut for like a second and then goes back to normal. The "service engine" light comes on and if I have the air conditioning on, it kicks the compressor off. I then have to turn the engine off for a couple of minutes and then the engine light shuts off.

I took the hose off to the intake on the TPS and noticed a lot of carbon build up in there, I just don't know how to take the TPS off to clean it.

Any suggestions about all this would be greatly appreciated
