backfire at 1800-2000 rpm ????

93 Z28 heads plained had to plain intake also now got this annoying ping type backfire at 1800rpm only when in gear tho any ideas where should i start

what happens when you go over 1800rpm does it sound like crap? and misses? mine my kinda doing same thing at 3500rpm it was the optispark.

it runs great just the popping doesnt even seem to lose lot of power hn it pings

i was just going to tell you that. i tore into my car the other day after doing headers and plugs/wires. i suggest getting plug wire looms to make sure it does not happen again.
