Back into an LT1!
(sorry if this is in the wrong thread)
Well, I've owned three previous LT1's (1994 TA GT, 1993 TA, 1996 TA vert). In 2004 I bought a 2002 Z28. I love the car and still have it today, but I could never shake the need to get another LT1. Last week I picked up a Quasar Blue 1994 Z28 A4. (I'll get pics soon hopefully) The car has 64K miles on it, mint cloth interior, very good paint, and 2.73 gears. I've driven it a few times over the past week and I can say that I absolutely love driving it. I still have to get it baseline dynoed and track tested and then I can start the modding. I pretty much want to start the way everyone does with bolt-ons and then move on to a hotcam and see where I go from there. Cam/Bolt-Ons is the farthest I've taken one before so we'll see what happens this time.
Mod list should look somthing like this:
CAI, 1LE Elbow, Cat-Back, TB Bypass
3.42 gears, LS1 driveshaft
Shorty Headers, High-Flow Cat
52mm TB, Electric Water Pump
Hotcam Kit
I want to document the build well (probably get a digital camera for pics) and track and or dyno test it at each point along the way. I have the 2002 for a more aggressive car, so I want to keep this one as a perfectly mannered driver.

Nice find. Havent been in a performance car in close to a decade. I have also owned 2 LT1's and a LS1 in the past...As soon as I pay off my current daily driver Ill be looking for a similar miled LT1 car...Ill probably be satisfied w/ a heads/cam car as far as mods go...congrats. If u look in my links you'll see pics of my old 97 med. quas blue z...definately the nicest LT1 color
