Back firing issue.. whats the deal??

Okay i had my motor apart for acouple months, because the water pump elbow you had to move for the vortech blower install came lose and fell out and car over heated and blew my head gaskets/warped heads. had heads cleaned up and ported/new gaskets of course. then just changed up the piping for the blower alittle and bolted on a BOV. other then that nothing has changed motor wise... now when i start it up it will randomly back fire while sitting at idle?? no check engine lights or anything.. now i have brand new cheap autolight autozone special plus installed for the time being until i'm ready for the dyno tune then i will add my new NGKTR6 plugs. could the spark plugs be getting to hot from the peformance wires and msd box and causing a issue? they are gapped at the stock gap..

hmm it could be that or the BOV could be holding air back. it didn't make any noise when i first started the car up without the blower connected. so spark lugs are ruled out on that one. thanks
