My car back fires violently when you dive after starting it up... before the 02's are actived by the PCM, and I'm guessing it's running rich... for this to happen.... Gas consumption is down the drain.

I replaced the MAP sensor.. and now my busted IAC is showing it'self since the car wont idle under 1500 not sure why that happend... after I replaced the stock GM unit... since it idle at 1200with the broken IAC still.


I'm at my wits end, and still the car seems to be flattening out on the accelorator at higher RPMs... my exahust tips are super black from this after I polished the hell out of them, which is unusual.. something is up.

 

When was the last time you checked your cotton filter?
