B4 I get an off-road pipe,.. i have a police ??

Has anyone ever gotten pulled over for this, or even in some kind of trouble because of emmisions?? I am gonna make it so i can put the cat right back on with a few bolts. Im just in it for the sound. I need to dump the cutout, its too low,.. the intrax springs are killing me. Input would be greatly appriciated.

most states require emissions to be on....the only time you usually get caught is at safety inspection sticker time... but if you have the bolt on type, just put the cat on and get inspected then replace back with the straight pipe..... Oh its usually a big fine if caught without the cat in place.....

I havent been pulled over yet, thank god. It is a HUGE fine if you get caught without your cat. Thats why people gut their cats, but i love my ORP and would do it all over again if given the chance.

I just swap my cat and pipe when i have to take the test..

I've heard of people getting tickets for illegal exhaust. But if you did get one. You'd just have to put your cat on, go to a state inspection station and take the certificate to court with you. And simply say, " the officer was mistaken your honor"
