Use the B&M shift kit if you don't like your transmission and want to blow it up.

Im afraid I wouldn't recommend that either, its contraversal. Especially the fact that ive had 2 tranny rebuilds in a year and going on a 3rd.

I went ahead and am installing the b&m. I've heard stories of the trangso also. I figure a shift is going to be hard on the transmission anyway. I'll see how this one does.

my tranny guy has been building high-performance GM transmissions for over 20 years and says he always recommends the kit to customers with performance cars or trucks used for towing. He also knew alot about beefing up the 4L60Es (targeting its weak points) so I trust him

b&m shift kit just increases the pressure I believe which is ovbiously bad for the transmission. Its not a debate like transgo, ive simply never heard anyone say anything good about it.

wow, ive heard so many bad things about Tranny Kits.
I was about to install my B&M improvement stage 1 when I started calling around and all I heard was bad news. Same with tansgo. TransGo suppose to be a really good valvebody install but all Ive heard is garbage. So whats up with these kits.

Sounds like the kits valvebodies is disrupting the bands in the case. Putting pressure in one area of the bands any leaving low pressure in another part of the bands with is burning the tranny up. How about installing a SLP module to increase the line pressure and then get a tranny cooler and a bigger tranny pan..? Will that work..I dunno that much about trannys..someone gimee some feedback..

thanks, Pepper
