Autozone doesn't have IAC and dealer wants $120

Hard to believe. My car doesn't want to start unless I apply the pedal, and it has an erratic idle at times so I'd like to try the IAC. But not for $120. Can they be repaired or bought for a reasonable price?

Is this what you're looking for?

Not sure if they're the same for every year. Advance Auto probably has one for you, but you might have to order it online, some of the parts they have aren't available in the store.

I got mine just last summer for 30ish I believe from Murrays. If you have them around you could try them.

What he said. I needed one a couple years ago and this is what I did. Not a common failure so nobody stocks them.

As stated above, you can clean it. Just be a little careful and don't push the pintle around. I did this to mine and have not had any problems since. Go this route before buying a new one.

I picked a new one up from Dal Slabaugh for about $60, brand new AC Delco.
