autometer FP gauge has a crack face...

Did it come like that, it did you do it? They carry a one year warranty, so maybe. Call who you got it form, maybe thye can help ya.

Will it work cracked? Because 50 dollar fees here and there are beginning to **** me off. I don't care about the crack as long as it functions properly.

If it is electrical, I would think as long at the crack isn't affecting the needle, it would work. If it is mechanical, why take the chance of having gas spray in your face?

it's a hairline crack... I'll be using an isolator so only coolant will be in the cabin. the gauge will still finction correctly right? I will replace it eventually but at the moment money is better spent on other things.

My guess would be it will still work if it is just a hairline crack. I would replace it as soon as possible tough.
