Are Autolite 106s too hot?

I put 106s in my car today as part of normal maintenence. Every post I have read on this site says they are too hot. Why? They are listed as stock replacement plugs, so I thought they would be fine. Am I wrong? Could they hurt my engine?

They'll be OK. I've had in my car for a long time with no problems.
