could any body give a discription
i have been having problems with my car lately and i was just wondering if anybody could describe any symptoms that would occur if the vaccum pump had a hole in it
the things that are happing to my car is it bogs down on take off and yesterday it was bogging so bad it wouldn't even go over 20mph
any help would be great

Is this an F-body LT1? They don't have vacuum pumps, unless you added one.
Maybe you mean AIR pump? Low on the drivers side of the motor front, it's the roundish black plastic thing that pumps air into the exhaust manifolds.
A leak in the air pump system could act like an exhaust leak, except due to the check valve at the manifold it would only leak air in, not exhaust out. This would cause a false lean condition, making your car run rich. That could eventually melt the cat, causing an axhaust restriction, but otherwise does not cause a bad bog in my experience. (I had a 1" split in one of my AIR hoses for a while).
Here is a possibility: When my O2s were bad, I got a false rich condition, causing the car to run very lean at idle, and bog at low throttle/low rpm. If you can, try scanning the car in closed loop when it's good and warm, driving it at moderate RPMs, and the O2 voltages should swing above and below .450 volts several times a second.
