Auto Zone A/C delete pulley

Has anybody used one? I bought one from there, and the pulley is much larger than the 1LE. It says that it uses the stock belt.

Here's a link with pic:

After thinking about it now, I realized it will work. The pulley is the same size as the pulley on the a/c compressor, and it's centered exactly where the a/c pulley would be.

Guess I answered my own question

I think its great for a stock setup, but I couldn't fit my exhaust past it, my belt is awful close with the little pulley.

Exhaust? I assume it's the downpipe for the turbos?

Just hope it is not one of those Chinese knock-offs found on Ebay. They don't last very long.

I just looked at the box, and sure enough it's made in China. Oh well, I'm going to get the SJM alternator relocate bracket in the spring anyway, I just didn't have the money for a manual r&p right now. I just got this to get the engine back together and the car back on the road.

$45.17 is the wholesale price on a genuine GM delete pulley. The Chinese piece is $39.99. It would not be hard for me to choose between the two.

True, but I already got the one from Auto Zone, and since it was a special order, I will have to pay a restocking fee if I return it. Besides, like I said, I'm ony using it until spring, and my car's not a daily driver. As long as it lasts a couple hundred miles, I'll be ok.
