Well I am switching from a 6 speed to a 350 turbo, and I am trying to find a flexplate for a auto car. Went to local parts store and bought one for an 86-88 one piece seal auto car, because they said that would work, but it doesn't. When I put the starter on it won't mesh with the flywheel. So while I turned it over I had someone watch the starter and the gear comes all the way out just doesn't hit the flexplate at all. So is the 94-97 flexplate different from all other years?? Does anybody know the size of the stock flexplate for this application??
