First of all, keep you're Formula a Formula.

As for as the A4 to M6 swap, yes it's worth it if you want to have some fun in your car and not go radical on modification. By this I meam as long as you're not looking for a mid 10 sec car. The M6 is alot stronger than the A4 (stock).

I'm just tired of the formula look and I don't have the $ to be buyin another car so I want to do a little improvments as I go along. What all do I need to swap the a4 to a m6. do I need to get a different drivetrain and universals with it? And do you know a $ figure to do the swap?

93 formula

93 formula
This is what I remember...I did the swap with a friend a long time ago on one of my cars. So I'm sure other willl chime in on what I'm missing.

M6 PCM
M6 crossmember
Clutch, pedals, shifter
Tou will need to cut some metal back to let the M6 shift properly.
I used an M6 Ds but I have heard the A4 will wok (not sure on that).

That's all I can remember, drinking right now because I'm off tomorrow. Others will need to help out also.

If you do it yourself your looking at $1500 for used parts. I'm sure it would take you a day or two depending on your mechanical ability.

This is true, I had mine done in a day with my good friend Tony Shepherd helping me out. He was involved in three swaps before mine. Granted this was like four years ago. But yeah, expect it to take atleast a day with experienced people. Two or more with out.

I've done two swaps and unless you have EVERY part you need it will take you more than a day or two.

I would bet by the time you get a good clutch that you will spend 2k
