I was about to order the Jet HOT Lt's yesterday , but then i told my dad about em, and he/i was wondering if there was anything cheaper that i could get that has about the same performance... and will fit on my lt1, in my 83 camaro.. im just trying to see what my alternatives are.. i dont even know if the JH's will clear the bay.
I've searched for headers myself all over the place, but im just paranoid that im going to get something that fits the motor, but not work with the bay..

Why ask me? I don't even have headers on my car.

I sure would not order any headers before being sure they would fit with the body that you have. Being that your car was available with the SBC, there might not be a problem, but you might seek counsel from someone with the same conversion.

 

lol - ok i just thought maybe being on the board so long that this question has come up , i dont know much about any header specs , or what is better/worse , ill do some more research, or try calling a few companies and ask them what they think , thanks for reply
