atlernator bracket question

I am in the middle of a heads and cam swap right now and I just got the passenger side head off. It took a little prying on the alternator bracket to get it to clear.

My question is how do you loosen the bracket in order to get the heads back on straight and not move the gasket?

Any tips on how to do this without pulling your hair out?

Thanks

Joe

You pull the bolts out of it, remove the power steering pump, and ac pump and you remove it from the car. At the very least you will have to lossen the upper bolts and get it to move out of the way.

Thanks for the insight on this. I will get nder there today and remove it. I was just hoping that there was an easier way. Oh well, I guess nothing is easy with our cars.

Thanks
