Question ATI TH350 Owners !!

Hey Guys,
Well , I finally have an ATI TH350 Tranny in my car now. Thanks to my buddy CSJTA for all of his help and know how. I do have one or more question to ask all of you guys.....Were you able to put a flexplate sheild on your TH350 after you insatlled the tranny in your car ? Or are you running it with the flexplate and converter showing ? It seems ATI cut the casing for some reason. I guess for Longtube headers or some other reason,I'm not really sure. Jegs have th350 flexplate cover for about $70.00 bucks ,but I dont know if it will work with my ATI or not.

I do not run a flexplate/inspection cover on my DD TH350 car.
I looked around a little for a stock cover but never found one. There really is not need for it unless you are unlucky and get 'nicked' by the flexplate while under the car...
I did go to the Charlotte Auto Fair and saw a plastic cover for $25 so someone is making a replacement piece that is not a handful....

I'll probably still run the car without a flexplate cover. One advantage is ,that my ol' 93 is a track only car now anyway. I was just curious if anyone has covered it up to keep the dirt out at least.
