ATI Harmonic Dampeners...$$$ sheesh!

Are they really worth $300+? I am going to be taking a 383 only up into the 6-6200 range.

"Better safe than sorry" or can I just use stock unit?

Ben

I would think it depends on the build. If you spend alot of time over 3500 or have a thumper cam I would think it would be a wise investment. But I wouldnt go for one of the cheaper ebay pieces.

I bought one mainly bc my stock one was starting to separate. Hopefully I will put it on this weekend. Heard alot of good things about them and the quality definitely looks high.

The way i look at it is if you are putting that much money into your motor. It is cheap insurance.

True, cant argue with that. Im planning on one personally, with a keyed hub to boot. If it's more than a bolt on motor I'd definitely consider one, especially if you have a thumper stick in it or hammer it all the time...
