ASR reverse switch wiring
ASR reverse switch wiring
I hope I'm in the right forum. I put it here cause the wiring for my ASR reverse switch would be particular to the LT1 as the harness changed in later years.
Anyways, I wanted to wire a switch so that the ASR was defaulted to on, when the car was started, and after all my lookin I found a link to do it at this site:
http://www.stevenetworks.com/f-body/asr.php
I am using an illuminated switch so that I know when the switch is in the on postition, and wired the brown/white wire to the positive on the switch, the black/white to the ACC, and grounded the switch by tapping into an interior light ground wire.
The switch works as its supposed to, however, it doesnt light up when it is in the on position. Anyone have any ideas on how I can get that to work? I know its sorta trivial, but I would like it light up if possible.
BTW, b4 anyone suggests the SLP traction control logic module, it won't work on my car, it is only for 97s and up.
TIA,
Ryan
