I did the pcm conversion on my96Z A4 with ASR. Now when the asr is on and I rev the engine the asr ingages and the low trac light comes on. If I turn off the asr everything is good. Ion (madz28) told me that the asr doesn't run off the pcm, it has it's own module. Anyone have any suggestion on a fix, or is this a known issue?

 

Sounds like you have an issue similar to others that had ABS INOP from the ABS wires too close to a plug wire. See if they are and try seperating them with some zip ties.
