not the piggy back one but the replacement one. i had the piggy back one before and removed cause of charging issues ,but since the cam idle has moved up enough to compensate what do u think??

 

I put one in my 96 recently. I have stock idle and didn't like the way it was sucking down at idle the lights were dimming and stock stereo ,no big power draws even. Today I put in overdrive alt pulley and much better. I would think with an idle of around 800 or 900 you would be fine . Likely will raise my idle later on. Then maybe take the overdrive alt pulley off.

Not sure what gain if any got but the asp is a very nice piece .And I had the add ons before but thought they made the engine rougher.

I put one on my car along with an underdrive alt. pulley and although I didn't get a chance to drive it, my lights seem to be the same way as before. My car idles at 900 and I don't have A/C.

Got the alt underdrive from one guy on the board and the crank replacement from another. I had to find the correct belt myself because the one that came with it didn't work on my setup. (too long)

 

I got my overdrive alt ,underdrive balancer off this board used but they are pretty rare and almost never in stock anywhere. Its a top quality piece and looks nice even it mabye it don't give any reduced et or higher mph.

I did 2800 vig and 30 pound injectors and the pulleys at same time so no idea how much it helped. Too many changes.
