Asap!! Please Help Quick!!!!

I was doing the 1.6 rocker install, and got to doing the first cylinder. It have it at TDC for piston #1. When removing the valve seal, the valve fell down to where i can see it, but i just can't pull it up. It's about 1/4 inch from the top of the valve guide in. I need to know what I can do to get this back up. Please anyone who knows, please reply quick!

I'd first try a magnit , If that does not work you most likley will have to pull the head off . Goodluck

Apparently you are not at #1 TDC. Use a telescoping magnetic pickup. You should already have one to retrieve your valve locks. If you don't you are going to need one anyway.

You got lucky. If the piston had been on the down stroke, you could have lost your valve into the cylinder. Also, depending on where it was sitting on the piston, it could have gotten caught and bent the valve. If your #1 is at TDC and the hub indicator is not at 12, then the hub is not indexed correctly to the crank.
