maybe ill try the battery thing...but it was recently tested and it was good, and when i tried jumping it, it did the same thing...ill tap the starter too. the mechanic at the GM chevy dealer said it was the starter when i described it to him

 

ok...i just went into the car, put the key in, and the LOW TRAC and BRAKE light were blinking together, and the airbag light kept clicking on and off.
last night, all that stuff worked perfectly when i put the jumper cables on it

 

it sounds like you could have something crossed, or shorted or grounded somewhere. check your ground wires. the last time my car had two off the wall things wrong with it at the same time, (neither had anything to do with eachother) it was the computer. i had two fried wires at the pcm and they were shorting to each other. that caused, no power to my fuel pump/fuel pump relay, and it caused my brake lights to stop working. strange i know, but i would check all grounds and/or make sure nothing is shorted or grounded.

 

it was my battery.

 

Was it a Dead cell?

 

dont know, i just bought a new battery. car started right up...not bad for sitting for 3 weeks with no activity.

thanks, glad to have it back...i drove it for 5 minutes. now i cant drive it at all.
