ARP intake manifold bolts... Which SBC kit do i get?
ARP intake manifold bolts... Which SBC kit do i get?
I need to replace these crappy stock rusty bolts, and i was thinking ARP of course. I was looking on summit but i'm not sure which one to pick out of the bunch..
Anyone know? Also, will they have the two studs like the stock bolts?(for the coolant tube, & alternator bracket.
Thanks

I was thinking about doing the same thing, because I've removed a lot of stuff around the intake manifold, and the factory studded ones make it that much more difficult to remove the manifold in the car. I don't know for sure but I'd get the standard small block ones (not the TPI), should have the same thread and all that stuff. It's probably not going to have studs, so you'd have to re-use some of your existing bolts, which kind of defeats your whole purpose. I'd just stick with what you've got.

Seem to be pretty similar, i'll probably go with alloyboltz since your the 3rd or fourth person to suggest those.
Thanks
