iam trying to install the head studs it says use arp thred sealer if my studs go into a water jacket or a blind hole what is that? i know they dont go into a water jecket becuase the threads are not in the water jacket but whats a blind hole? is it just a hole were the threds are? can i just use lock tite?

 

DO NOT USE LOCK-TITE!!!

Just use thread sealer on every single stud and then use some ARP lube on the ends before you put the nuts on and start torquing.
