Arizona Speed & Marine
Re: Arizona Speed & Marine
After I got my Heads and Intake back from Lloyd Elliott of Elliottsportworks i ask him where i could get a 58MM Throttle Body And he said they make them there and they was one of the Best out there so I ordered one. They are made out of a Solid Block of 6061 Billet Aluminum.
Re: Arizona Speed & Marine
It took me a minute to understand what you meant by “it’s on page three.” I now understand that you meant that if you go to their website, don’t search or filter anything, and leave it on the default sort, you’ll find their LT1 throttle body on the third page.
Cool thing about web pages, through — you can link to them! To wit, here’s the product page: https://azspeed.com/product/lt-1-58-...hrottle-valve/
And yeah, AS&M have long made some great LT1 upgrade parts.
Merry Christmas!

Re: Arizona Speed & Marine
ASM makes a nice TB. You do need PCM tuned for a larger TB for several reasons. Most importantly for the transmission, if automatic, as without those adjustments, the trans will soon fail (line pressure).
One of the more common problems with larger aftermarket TB is getting the IAC counts right. They want to be 32 (30-35) at idle with engine at operating temp.
IMHO unless you are making 500+HP, a stock TB bored to 52 is the most "plug & play" relative to tuning, especially the IAC. You "may" need to increase the IAC air passage 1-3/64" on 383 H/C motor to nail the IAC but take baby steps (read drill 1/64" larger then test IAC, repeat if necessary)
